Radha Kumar
The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has recently appointed 12 new members to the global body United Nations University Council (UNUC) to formulate its principles and policies, consider and approve biennial budget and work programme. Among them, Radha Kumar, an Indian academician, has been chosen by the UN chief. She is the Director General of New Delhi-based think tank Delhi Policy Group. The new appointees, who will take office on May 2016, will serve for terms of either 3 or 6 years.
