NITI Aayog’s task force on agriculture recommended major reforms to address the issue of frequent spurt in crop prices. Major recommendations of the task force include setting up of a unified national agriculture market, guaranteed prices for at least half the key crops, changing land lease laws and creating a mechanism to facilitate easy exit for farmers who want to move out of agriculture.
