The Haryana government has launched “Haryana Immunization Incentives and Information Programme” to increase immunization rates of children between the age group of 0-12 months. The programme would be implemented in 7 districts viz. Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Mewat, Palwal, Panipat, Rewari and Sonipat covering 140 Primary Health Centres (PHCs). The purpose of the programme is to significantly improve immunization coverage in lower performing districts, especially for girls, who in all 7 districts have lower immunization rates than boys.
