The Government of India (GoI) has recently contributed $ 100,000 to UN trust fund set up for victims of sexual exploitation and abuse by peacekeepers. With this, India has become the first country to make a contribution to the Trust Fund in Support of Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA). India is one of the largest troop-contributing countries in UN peacekeeping operations and is currently ranked as the 2nd largest contributor of military and police personnel.
