Jannik Sinner defeated Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-4 to win the Miami Open, completing the ‘Sunshine Double’ by winning both Indian Wells and Miami in the same season. He became the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to achieve the Sunshine Double and the first player to do so without dropping a set across both events. At 24 years old, Sinner won Indian Wells for the first time, becoming the eighth man to complete the Sunshine Double, joining Jim Courier, Michael Chang, Pete Sampras, Marcelo Rios, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic.
