Notes: Ram Dulari Sinha was the first woman from Bihar to be appointed as Governor. She became Governor of Kerala from 23 February 1988 to 12 February 1990. She was a nationalist, freedom fighter, Union Minister.  She was married with Thakur Jugal Kishore Sinha popularly known as the father of Cooperative Movement in India. She was Union Minister in Government's headed by Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi respectively. She was elected Vice Chairman of the International Labour Organisation.
