Notes: Kashibai Navrange (1878-1946) opened her own clinic and started a Milk Fund in 1916 for pregnant and lactating mothers under Arya Mahila Samaj. She also established Garbhavati Chikitsalaya, and promoted women’s economic empowerment in Bombay. Kashibai Navrange Road in Mumbai is named after her.
