Honya Bhagoji Kengle
Honya Bhagoji Kengle (1836-1876) led the Koli rebellion against British rule in Maharashtra, earning fame as the "Robin Hood of Bombay." He fought exploitative moneylenders and British authorities, supported by Western Ghats tribes. Captured in 1876, he was executed in Ahmednagar jail.
