Notes: Bidar Sultanate was founded by Qasim Barid I in 1492 after Bahmani decline. It existed till 1619 and was among the five Deccan Sultanates. The Bidar rulers promoted Persian culture, Indo-Islamic architecture, with the Bidar Fort and Barid Shahi tombs as notable examples.
