Notes: In the Great Mutiny of 1857, Jhansi ki Rani Laxmi Bai and Tantya Tope captured the Fort of Gwalior. But, the British forces under the command of Sir Hugh Rose recaptured the fort and Rani Laxmi Bai died on the battle field on June 17,1858. Tantia Tope was captured and executed on April 15, 1859.
