Notes: The Uttar Pradesh government is organising Swadesh Mela 2025 in all 75 districts from 9th October to 19th October 2025. The initiative follows the successful third edition of Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS). The fairs aim to promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), khadi, handloom, and handicraft products. The event provides a district-level platform for local entrepreneurs and artisans to showcase and sell their products. Citizens are encouraged to support the ‘Vocal for Local’ vision during the Diwali festive season. Swadesh Melas highlights indigenous products, Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, and cultural performances.
