Berar-Deccan Marathi, a dialect of the Marathi–Konkani group, is written in Devanagari script. Subdialects include Bijapuri and Kalvadi. Though similar to Varhadi-Nagpuri, the language is primarily found in Maharashtra and adjacent Karnataka districts. Devanagari is the most widely used script for Marathi languages.
