Notes: Thakur Vishwanath Shahdeo led the Doranda Military Revolt against British rule. He was the king of Barkagarh estate in Chotanagpur. He declared independence in 1855 and allied with Ganpat Rai during the 1857 rebellion. Thakur Vishwanath Shahdeo was from the Nagbanshi Rajput community. He was executed by hanging on April 16, 1858, in Ranchi. His revolt was part of the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
