Notes: Kurseong is located at an elevation of 1458m above mean sea level. It is known as the Land of White Orchids. It enjoys a favourable and cool climate all year round and is surrounded by tea gardens and moss (flowerless plant) covered flower orchards. It used to be the summer resort of Rabindranath Tagore. It has some best views of the surrounding hills, waterfalls and tea estates.
