Notes: Rowlatt Satyagraha was the first venture of Gandhi in all-India politics. On 24th February, 1919 at Bombay, Mahatma Gandhi started a campaign and formed a Satyagraha Sabha against the Rowlatt Act. Rowlatt Act permitted few political cases to be tried without juries and allowed internment of suspects without trial.
