Notes: The first all Hindu newspaper “ Udanta-Martanda” was published from Kanpur in the year 1826. Pandit Jugal Kishore Shukla was the editor of the Udanta-Martanda newspaper.  This was the first time a newspaper was published completely in Hindi, using the Devanagari script.
