Sikandar Lodi (1489-1517 AD), son of Bahlol Lodi, conquered Bihar and Western Bengal. He moved the capital from Delhi to Agra, which he founded. He developed agriculture, introduced the 32-digit Gaz-i-Sikandari for field measurement, and promoted trade, making Agra a commercial hub. He supported Persian literature, hosting scholars like Malik Muhammad Jayasi.
