Notes: Mt. Tumjang, in the Borail Range of Dima Hasao district, is considered Assam's highest peak at over 1,860 metres. It is a named summit recognized in the region. Some sources mention an unnamed peak P. 1960 at 1,960 metres, but Tumjang remains the major named highest point in Assam.
