Kudukh, also known as Kurukh, is the main local language of the Oraon tribe in Jharkhand. It is a Dravidian language with over one million speakers, mainly in the Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, and Ranchi districts. Kudukh is officially recognized alongside Mundari, Santali, and Ho as one of Jharkhand's four key tribal languages. Mandyali and Kehluri are languages from Himachal Pradesh, and Chemli is not associated with Jharkhand tribes.
