Notes: The Supa Dam which is built across the Kali River in the state of Karnataka is the highest dam in the Karnataka state. This dam is situated at GaneshaGudi, in Uttara Kannada district. This dam forms the main storage reservoir to all the power houses in Kalinadi hydro power project of total installed capacity of 1180 MW, which also includes the main Nagzari power house which has a capacity of 810 MW. This dam was built by the Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited (HSCL) and is owned, operated and designed by the Karnataka Power Corporation Limited.
