Notes: The Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) were established after a 2003 Memorandum of Settlement involving the Bodo Liberation Tigers Force (BLTF). The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), formed under this agreement, administers BTAD as an autonomous area in Assam under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. The BLTF surrendered arms following this settlement, enabling the formation of the BTAD.
