The Rai dynasty (c. 489–632 CE) ruled Sindh for 144 years, known from the 13th-century Chachnama. Rai Sahiras II divided the kingdom into four provinces. The dynasty ended when Brahmin Chach usurped the throne after Rai Sahasi II's death. No archaeological evidence exists.
