Notes: Kamarpukur is the birthplace of great saint Shri Ramkrishna Paramahamsa. The most famous tourist spots here are Ramkrishna Math, the ancestral home of Shri Ramkrishna, Raghubir temple, Yogi’s Shiva temple, Haldar-pukur and Manik Raja’s mango grove. Jairambati is located about 7 km West of Kamarpukur and known to be the birthplace of Ma Sharada, wife of Shri Ramkrishna. It is a small village in Bankura district. Matri Mandir and mother’s ancestral home are the most visited places here.
