Guadeloupe is an archipelago forming an overseas region of France located where the northeastern Caribbean Sea meets the western Atlantic Ocean. This archipelago forms part of the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles archipelago. Guadeloupe is located between two countries in which Antigua and Barbuda lies to the north and Dominica lies to the south. The British Overseas Territory of Montserrat is located to the north of Guadeloupe.
