Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually attend the 47th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-India Summit. The summit is being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October 26 to 28, 2025. The country will become the diplomatic capital of Southeast Asia during the event. More than 30 heads of state and government will attend, including leaders from ASEAN nations and dialogue partners like the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Discussions will focus on regional peace, economic resilience, and inclusive growth. The summit theme is ‘Inclusivity and Sustainability’ under Malaysia’s 2025 ASEAN Chairmanship.
