Gulf of Aqaba, also known as Gulf of Eilat, is a gulf located in southwest Asia at the northern tip of the Red Sea. This gulf is bordered by the Sinai Peninsula to the west and Arabian peninsula to the east. The coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba is divided among four countries- Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, thereby forming the basin countries of the Gulf of Aqaba. This gulf is one of the most popular diving destinations in the world.
