Chokhamela was a 14th-century Marathi poet and saint from the Mahar caste in Maharashtra. He is known for composing abhangs devoted to Vitthal, a form of Krishna. He belonged to Pandharpur and is among the earliest known Dalit poets in Indian history. His works reflect devotion and societal challenges. His samadhi is at the Vitthal temple in Pandharpur.
