Notes: The Saras Aajeevika Food Festival 2025 was inaugurated on 1 December 2025 at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, by Union Minister for Rural Development, and Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Around 300 ‘Lakhpati Didis’ (women entrepreneurs) and women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from 25 states are participating through 62 stalls. The festival, running till 9 December 2025, showcases Indian culture, rural products, and traditional cuisine, promoting women’s empowerment under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). The festival highlights the confluence of cultures, flavours, and social fabric of participating states, inspiring rural women and promoting Indian gastronomy.
