Notes: Assam's first Tea Tourism project was inaugurated at Durrung Tea Estate, Sonitpur, in September 2025 by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The project involved converting a 19th-century heritage bungalow into a 12-room luxury resort to promote Assam's tea heritage and local employment. It was developed by the Jalan Group and The Postcard Hotel Group and features eco-friendly and zero-plastic campus designs.
