North-East Jharkhand
Godda district is situated in the north-eastern part of Jharkhand. It borders the states of Bihar and West Bengal. The district covers an area of 2110 km² in the Santhal Parganas region. Godda town serves as the district headquarters. Its coordinates are approximately 24°49′N latitude and 87°13′E longitude.
