Answer: Make the National Capital drug-free
Notes: Delhi Police launched “Operation Kavach” to combat the drug mafia and make the National Capital drug-free. The drive began on 13 May 2023 and, until 23 January 2026, 12 special operations were conducted across Delhi. During these operations, 9,694 locations were raided, 851 cases under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, and 1,690 cases under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 were registered. A total of 2,640 persons were arrested in these special operations. Between 2023 and 15 February 2026, 5,467 drug-related FIRs were registered, 7,134 persons arrested, and around 17,435 kg of drugs (charas, opium, ganja, smack, heroin, poppy seed, cocaine) were seized.
