Sarhul is a spring festival celebrated by the Santhal tribe mainly in Jharkhand. It is also called Baha or Baha Parab, meaning "Festival of Flowers." The festival involves worshipping the Sal tree and using Mahua and Sal flowers in rituals at Sarna Sthals. Sarhul marks the Adivasi New Year and is associated with the renewal of nature. Dance forms like Jadur and Gena, community feasts, and Handia (rice beer) are part of the celebration.
