The Singhbhum Thrust Zone, also known as the Singhbhum Shear Zone or Copper Belt Thrust, extends about 167 km in Jharkhand's Singhbhum Crustal Province. It traverses East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts. The zone is rich in copper and other minerals such as apatite and is located along the southern margin of the North Singhbhum Fold Belt. Mineralization is linked to Dhanjori volcanics and shear zone rocks enriched in cobalt, nickel, titanium, and vanadium.
