Khwaja Qurubddin Bakhtiyar kaki
Qutb Minar, built with Quwwatul-Islam Mosque around 1192 by Qutb-uddin Aibak, is named after him or Sufi saint Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki. Aibak started the first storey, Shamsuddin Iltutmish completed three more by 1220. A lightning strike in 1369 destroyed the top storey, replaced and extended by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. Sher Shah Suri added an entrance. The minar features inscriptions in Parso-Arabic and Nagari.
