The Tungabhadra River is the largest tributary of the Krishna River. It has a drainage basin of about 71,417 km² and flows for approximately 531 km. The Tungabhadra originates from the confluence of the Tunga and Bhadra rivers in Karnataka. It joins the Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh.
