Q. The "Heimosodat/Kinship Wars" aimed to establish the autonomy of which country?
Answer: Finland
Notes: The Heimosodat or Kinship Wars were the conflicts in territories inhabited by other Finnic peoples, often in Russia or along the at that time loosely defined borders between Finland and Russia. Some 9000 Finnish volunteers took part in these wars between 1918 and 1922, with the objective of bringing under Finnish control the large areas between Finland and the White Sea with predominantly Finnic populations. Many of the volunteer soldiers were inspired by the idea of Greater Finland.
