Notes: Atala Masjid was originally a temple of goddess Atala devi built by Kannauj King Vijaychandra. It was partially destroyed and converted to a mosque in 14th century by Ibrahim Shah, the Sharqi dynasty ruler of Jaunpur sultanate. The so called new design was called Sharqi architecture.
