This global operation was initiated in coordination with Interpol and Narcotics Control Bureau, to combat smuggling of illicit drugs and psychotropic substances, with focus on Indian Ocean region. CBI registered 127 new cases, arrested 175 people and seized huge quantities of narcotic drugs during this special operation.
