Notes: ImmunoACT, a company incubated at IIT Bombay and supported by Laurus Labs, has obtained approval from the Indian drug regulatory body -CDSCO, for its CAR-T cell therapy known as NexCAR19 (actalycabtagene autoleucel). This approval allows for the treatment of specific types of blood cancers. NexCAR19 is the first humanized CD19-targeted Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy developed in India to receive approval.
