Madhava Varma II (mid-5th century AD) was the greatest ruler of the Vishnukundina dynasty, expanding its territories over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, with capital at Amarapura. He defeated Vakatakas, annexed Kalinga, performed Ashvamedha sacrifices, and issued inscriptions and coins.
