The famous song Kesaria Balam is composed in Maand style. Famous Maand singers include Allah Jilai Bai of Bikaner (awarded with Padma Shri – 1982 and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in Folk Music – 1988), Mangi Bai Arya of Udaipur.
