Notes: Justice Revati Mohite Dere was sworn in as Meghalaya’s first woman Chief Justice at Durbar Hall, Lok Bhavan, Shillong. The oath was administered by Governor Chandrashekhar H Vijayashankar. She succeeded Chief Justice Soumen Sen, who was transferred to Kerala High Court. Prior to this, Justice Dere served as a judge at the Bombay High Court. Her appointment was recommended by the Supreme Court collegium on 18 December 2025.
