Notes: Bihar state has announced pension to the participants of J. P. Movement. J.P. Movement is also known as Bihar Movement. It was started in 1974. It was led by the veteran Gandhian socialist Jayaprakash Narayan. The pension scheme for the participants of J. P. Movement was announced by Nitish Kumar in 2009. The scheme was called "JP Samman Yojna". Under this scheme, pension ranging from Rs 2,500-5,000 and a range of free services was decided to be given to an estimated 10,000 people as a first step.
