Notes: The first Political Inquiry Commission was formed in Bihar. It was constituted on 1 October, 1967 by a Retired Supreme Court Judge T.L. Ventaraman Iyer. After the inquiries, It was found that the corruption charges on six leaders were right and they were declared guilty. The six corrupted leaders were K.B. Sahai, Mahesh Prasad Sinha, Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav, Raghavendra Narayan Singh, Satyendra Narayan Singh and Ambika Sharan Singh.
