Jharkhand is a landlocked state in eastern India. It shares its borders only with Indian states Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh. Jharkhand has no international borders with any country. The state lies wholly inland on the Chota Nagpur Plateau and covers an area of 79,714 sq km. All boundaries are with Indian states, confirming that Jharkhand shares no borders with any foreign country.
