Notes: As of 22nd July 2025, over 30.95 crore unorganised workers have registered on the e-SHRAM portal. e-SHRAM stands for Electronic Shramik Registration and Management. It was launched on 26th August 2021 by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to create a National Database of Unorganised Workers (NDUW) seeded with Aadhaar. It aims to build a National Database of Unorganised Workers (NDUW). It covers migrant workers, construction workers, gig and platform workers, and more. The portal now supports 22 languages through the Bhashini project by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY).
