  1. The Soanian valley is in Punjab. It is an archaeological culture of the Lower Paleolithic in the Sivalik Hills of the Indian subcontinent. Contemporary to the Acheulean, it is named after the Soan Valley in Pakistan.
  2. Belan river is a river in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is famous for prehistoric sites on its banks. The Belan Valley culture shows an advanced sedentary life characterized by well-defined family units, standard pottery tradition and specialized tool types.
  3. Koregaon is a census town and headquarters for the surrounding Koregaon Taluka in the Satara subdivision of Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
