Educational Qualifications
The educational qualifications required for this recruitment are as follows:
- Engineer Mate – Holder of Engine Driver of Vessel Certificate issued by MMD. X Class or equivalent. 5 years sea experience
- Greaser – X Class or equivalent. Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance
- Seaman – X Class or equivalent. 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Age Limit
The age limit for this recruitment are as follows:
- Engineer Mate – 18 to 30 years
- Greaser -18 to 25 years
- Seaman – 18 to 25 years
Pay Scale
The pay scale for this recruitment are as follows:
- Engineer Mate – PB-I, Revised pay Level 5 in the pay matrix (₹29200- 92300) as per 7th CPC, Pre-revised scale (₹5200-20200) + G.P. ₹2800
- Greaser -PB-I, Revised pay scale Level-I in the pay matrix (₹18000- 56900) as per 7th CPC, Pre-revised scale (₹5200- 20200) + Grade Pay of ₹1800
- Seaman – PB-I, Revised pay scale Level-I in the pay matrix (₹18000- 56900) as per 7th CPC, Pre-revised scale (₹5200- 20200) + Grade Pay of ₹1800
