Union Government launches 24×7 multi-lingual helpline
Union Ministry of Tourism has launched 24×7 Toll Free Multi-Lingual Tourist Info Line for international tourists in 12 international languages.
The 12 languages include 10 International languages besides English and Hindi, namely, French, Arabic, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
About Tourist Infoline Project
- This project is being implemented by the Union Ministry through TATA Business Support Services (BSS) Limited.
- The Infoline service will provide information relating to Tourism and travel in India to the international and domestic tourists.
- Calls made by tourists (both international and domestic) in India will be free of charge. These calls will be directed to the call agents proficient in the respective mentioned languages.
- This info line will provide hassel-free experience to tourists travelling or planning to travel to India.
