Dr.G.Satheesh Reddy first Indian to be awarded RAeS Fellowship
The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), awarded the 2019 Honorary Fellowship of the Society to Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) Chairman, Dr.G.Satheesh Reddy.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, the Oldest aeronautical society of the world, RAeS was founded in the year 1866. The Honorary Fellowship award from RAeS is considered one of the highest distinctions in the field of global aerospace in the world.
RAeS started the Honorary Fellowship in 1917, Dr.G.Satheesh Reddy became the first Indian to receive the Fellowship.
In 2015, Dr.Reddy was also the first Indian to be awarded the “Silver Medal” by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).
